A Night of Wine & R&B with Algee Smith

An intimate night of wine, conversation, and new music

THE TASTING

Wine Culture Club brought Wine & R&B Wednesday to Angela Yee's Coffee Uplifts People for an intimate evening with Algee Smith. Guests explored wines from around the world including a crisp Champagne, a rich Chardonnay from Lodi, CA, a delicate rosé from Veneto, Italy, an earthy Tempranillo from Rioja, Spain, and a bold South African Red Blend.

THE PERFORMANCE

JoJo Brim led a Q&A with Algee before the performance and it made the night. Hearing the story behind his EP, Love Lost, made everything that followed feel personal. The crowd was locked in before he even sang a note.

THE SEND-OFF

The DJ kept it going, nobody rushed out, and we stayed until they shut it down. Algee delivered and the crowd left happy. These are the moments Wine Culture Club was built for.
